2012 State Tournament Set

The 2012 Regionals have come to a close and the eight winning teams are set to match up in the State Tournament at Cathedral High School on Saturday, May 26th. The schedule is as follows:
 
11:00AM Carmel vs. Wheeler
11:00AM Hebron vs. Roncalli
12:30PM Zionsville vs. Lafayette Jefferson
12:30PM Cathedral vs. Wapahani
 
Semi-Final matches to begin at 3:00PM

Carmel Ranked in Top 10 in the Country

As of week 2 in the 2012 Powerade FAB 50 Boys Volleyball Rankings, Carmel High School moved up from 18th to securing a spot in the top 10 in 10th place. They are currently 11-0 on the season. The website link is directed below:

Carmel Seniors sign on to D-1 Schools

Carmel Senior Outside Hitter Jack Lesure has signed to play Men’s Volleyball with Ball State University. Jack has been a standout player with the Carmel Greyhounds and is a 4 year starting letter winner.  Jack has also competed nationally in USAV Club Jr.’s Volleyball.  Pictured with Jack are his parents Jay and Beth Lesure and Coach Harmon.

               

Fellow teammate and Carmel High School Senior Opposite Branden Clemens recently signed to play Mens’ Volleyball with Harvard University.  Branden has been a standout player with the Carmel Greyhounds and is a four year starting letter winner.  Branden has also competed Nationally in USAV Club Volleyball and is an AAU Beach 18U Champion.  Pictured are Branden’s Parents Bob and Michelle Clemens, Branden and Coach Harmon.
